Way Back Wednesday: The Bentley MK VI

After being sold to Rolls Royce in 1931, Bentley produced the MK VI from 1946 to 1952. Originally, this car had an F head 4.3l straight six engine but moved to a 4.6 in 1951.

The car came in either a 2 door or a 4 door and was controlled by a 4 speed manual transmission. All in all these cars were an awesome example of British luxury autos and led to the basis of the Rolls Royce Silver Dawn, and the Silver Wraith.

Sure it’s a Ferrari 599 GTB at heart, but the custom black paint job and the 21 inch custom wheels make all the difference. What does Comte Noir mean? Well, it means black count, and with an improved performance of 620 horsepower I think that ol’ Graf can call it whatever he wants… enjoy!

Morgan to plunge into electric car market

With many luxury brands getting into the electric car market it seems that Morgan doesn’t want to miss the boat.

And staying always true to form, the British car maker is building a long nosed, sleek and downright amazing looking car.

It’s called the LIFEcar 2, it’s diesel-electric powered and will take you where you want to go in style (as long as you stay within 1000 miles).

It’ll be no slouch either. Although by no means will it keep up with it’s gas powered sports car friends, it will get you to 100 km/h in a nice tidy 7 seconds. Continue reading
